What to expect from the Digital Experience and eCommerce track at #DMWF Virtual

The digital marketplace and eCommerce landscape is ever-changing and there is no denying the Coronavirus global pandemic has had a real effect on this and digital experience, creating more challenges for marketers. 

On day two (September 17) the Digital Experience and eCommerce track at #DMWF Virtual will focus on approaching the challenges we face with selling online and providing services. At 3:00 pm on September 17 Adverity will be hosting a live session and Q&A on Defining Value in a Two Sided Marketplace: An eCommerce Approach. Cameron Benoit, Solution Consulatant at Adverity and Alex Holt, Manager of Data at Cars.com will be sharing how Cars.com used a blend of marketing fundamentals, eCommerce thinking, and data science to solve handling a two-sided marketplace with the offline conversion. Providing tips on understanding and quantifying the marketplace environment, how to frame your value equation and designing a ROAS-focused architecture. Join this live session for the opportunity to put your questions to the panel!

#DMWF Virtual will also be sharing on-demand sessions for attendees to view their leisure across the two days.

Narayan Keshavan, Head Digital Analytics at Dell Technologies will be hosting the on-demand solo, ‘Enhancing Digital Experience through Experimentation’. Narayan will be sharing his approach to building an experimentation framework, the important principles that form the foundation of an effective experimentation strategy, using real examples of A/B tests conducted globally.

#DMWF regular Oshiya Savur, VP Marketing at Revlon will provide tangible strategies to deliver high consumer engagement. Sharing frameworks that outline the omnichannel ecosystem from an internal and external perspective in her on-demand session ‘Consumer Engagement in an Omnichannel World’. 

The final session of the day, ‘Are your assumptions about your customer limiting your success?’ will be hosted by Janis Thomas, Ecommerce & Marketing Director, Look Fabulous Forever! Tricia Cusden launched Look Fabulous Forever to meet the needs of the older women that so much of the beauty industry forgets. This session will help you to overcome biases, understand your customer, leverage that insight and how do you open your experience to all customers.
